Preschoolers Clean & tidy

Preschoolers can have a tough time moving from one activity to another. A common trend with transitions is that they often involve cleaning up, which could make issues even trickier. When it's time to pick up the pieces and restore order, help preschoolers learn how to make a space spic and span. Once you instill these habits in your kid, they might even last a lifetime.

Items you will need
Bins, baskets and shelves
Chart
Stickers

Step 1
Talk about cleaning up to get kids on board. It's likely that your standards and their standards are worlds apart, so you'll need to tell them what you expect. This isn't the time for perfection, but it's reasonable to insist that floors are clear, beds are made and laundry is put away.

Step 2
Organize the rooms where your preschooler hangs out to make clean-up easy. Buy bins, baskets and shelving so everything has a spot. Create kid-friendly storage options so preschoolers can successfully put things away. Have your kids help you so they know the system and know where to store their toys.

Step 3
Show kids how you want them to clean up so they understand what you want. They're not mind readers, so it's important to go through the whole process to teach them the routine. Play upbeat music to make the cleaning process fun and give it a positive spin.

Step 4
Create a clean-up chart to help pre-readers remember everything they need to do when cleaning up. Your chart might include pictures indicating putting away toys, hanging up clothes, throwing dirty laundry in the hamper, dusting, making a bed and vacuuming. As kids complete each chore, they might even earn a sticker to show that they remembered everything.

Step 5
Inspect a clean-up job to make sure everything's done. Give loads of praise and positive feedback when you find good clean-up work. By praising what you like, you're more likely to get a repeat performance. If you find something undone, point it out so kids can finish. Give them a hand, if necessary, so the work is completed successfully.

Since the absorption of calcium is double with the Yogurt consumption as compared to the milk, is gives much relief from the pain and discomfort due to ulcers. Therefore, Yogurt has anti-ulcer property and it is an excellent remedy when even there is a stomach irritation. In an hour only 32 per cent of the raw milk is digested as against 91 per cent of the yogurt. The lactic acid content in the Yogurt helps in the assimilation of calcium and phosphorus. Moreover, some individuals may show intolerance to milk called “lactose intolerance”, but they show tolerance to Yogurt.

Does your child sleep soundly at night?

Does your child sleep soundly at night? Adequate sleep is essential if you want your child to optimise the use of his physical and mental capabilities.

Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise. All of us have heard this old saying,
but few pay any real attention to it. Believe it or not, but our sleep patterns and the quality of sleep plays an important role in keeping children healthy, and their brain functioning at optimal levels.

Does your child have a disturbed sleep at night, or does he sleep soundly? Just because a child sleeps soundly through the night doesn't mean that he will do better than the child who has a disturbed sleep, but if your child has a disturbed sleep at night, research shows that if his sleep quality improves, his concentration and ability to assimilate information will improve as well. In short, his grades will go up.

Aggressive Behavior Children

Are you worried about aggressive behavior children? Does a child you know exhibit aggressive behaviors. Do you want to learn more about aggression in children and how to help?
When aggressive behavior begins, talk to your child let him know there is other ways to deal with this unacceptable behavior, such as asking for help, letting someone know the problem instead of getting angry.

Positive Rewards…

Praise your child when getting along with others, like playing fairly, taking turns or sharing, always be definite about what you're praising.
The more you praise your child with positive attention the more positive behavior will be repeated.

Keep It In The Past…

If you keep telling your child about their earlier incident doesn’t teach them acceptable behavior, because it then reminds the child how to be aggressive again.

Time Out…

If the aggressive behavior continues, further steps are needed and Time Out may be necessary, to reinforce your message with their behavior not being accepted.

What Not To Do…

There are two things to remember that you don't do: Firstly, don’t use aggression to stop aggression.

Hitting your child or any other physical contact with your child will only teach your him to do the same to others in the same way.

Secondly: don’t let off steam when your child does, getting angry with your child when he hits only proves he can use aggression to have power over you.

What Causes Aggression in Children?.

Multiple factors interact to foster aggression in children. In some cases, for example, the interaction between the child’s temperament and/or a genetic predisposition and environmental influences (e.g. ineffective parenting or stress) increases a child’s reliance on aggression as a major coping strategy.

Some of the multiple factors that contribute to aggression in children include the following:

  • Genetic and/or temperamental influences.
  • Insecure or disorganized attachment patterns.
  • Ongoing and unrelieved stress.
  • Lack of appropriate problem solving and coping strategies.
  • Limited experience with role models (e.g. peers, family members, TV. & computer games) who value and provide examples of non-aggressive behaviors.
  • Ineffective parenting style: for example, authoritarian, controlling, harsh or coercive parenting style; permissive, overindulgent parenting style; rejecting parenting style; psychological problems in the parent such as depression or alcoholism.
  • Poor fit between parent and child:Ineffective parenting could be an effect rather than a cause of the child’s behavior. Children’s problem behaviors may affect parents’ moods and parenting behaviors.
  • Family stress, disruption and conflict.
  • Help Aggressive Behavior Children

Remember, behavior change takes time. It requires consistency and follow through.

Be on the look out for small changes. Small steps make a difference and will lead you and your child toward a positive outcome.

My son's school bag

Although school reopen is still far from over, as early as now I bought some school stuff for my boy. He started looking for school shoes and bags. Hopefully these items would last for the entire school year.
My  son decided to have a backpack for his school bag. He goes to school by walk  so it would be difficult to get him a really big bag.  It was quite difficult to find the right bags for my kids. It was like choosing the right outdoor lighting for our home. I have to consider a lot of things like:

Will my son approve on carrying such type of bag in school?
Will my son’s school stuff fit inside the bag?
Does the size of the bag appropriate for my son’s physical built?
Is the bag within the price range of the school supplies budget?
Will my son approve on the style and the design of the bag?

So many questions to ask, and we are talking about just the school bag. Almost the same questions are asked for other school supplies such as shoes, lunch box and a lot more.
Mommy’s decision making skills are put into practice again, not to mention that Mommy’s patience is put to a test once again...

Lastly I brought a bag for him .
My son school bag

Hope he like this bag:)
